About Wildwood
Wildwood provides supports and services to people of all ages with conditions described as developmental disabilities, complex learning disabilities and autism spectrum disorders. Wildwood values understanding each individual as a whole and unique person.
Our ongoing collaboration with Wildwood is one of our most rewarding partnerships. Together, we are transforming their greenhouse, gardens, and forest areas into vibrant learning environments where adults and high school–aged learners with developmental disabilities can explore horticulture, gardening, and environmental sustainability.
We have supported repairs and improvements to the greenhouse and green space infrastructure—including plumbing, electrical, and carpentry work—and coordinated volunteer efforts to help bring this vision to life.
Through hands-on projects like cultivating plants and native trees, installing birdhouses and bird feeders, building benches and repairing picnic tables, participants gain real-life skills in land care, ecological awareness, and community stewardship.
